The second annual Bohemian Burlesque Festival took place in the hip city of Brno and magical historic Prague over the weekend of 26th to 29th of October with three evening shows, a market day with stalls, presentations, discussion panel and more and with lots of workshops.

The second festival was even more spectacular then the first one, we adore our faithful and passionate Brno audience, who came in high numbers taking every seat in the house. Friday blew everyone´s mind with our spectacular baroque venue and high glamour show headlined by our European star Vicky Butterfly and US headliner Ray Gunn and expertly MCed by our 2016 Bohemian Queen Amber Topaz. 

 

The Saturday market was hip and fun with passionate new performers and world premiere of unique hanged up comedy, new genre combining acrobatics and stand up comedy. Our special guest, French legend Miss Botero first got everybody moved with emotional workshop, then had a very informative lecture about the history of European burlesque and then got everyone laughing with her unforgettable antiglam act.

 

In the evening the new venue for Saturday right by the famous Charles bridge was completely packed and sold out on the door. The coveted title of Bohemian Queen went to Swiss Dragon Misty Lotus and Trixie Blue form UK became the Bohemian Princess. The second part featured two new acts by our prestigous guests Harden Reddy and Sheila Wolf.

Sunday was reserved for recovering and also workshops by Amber Topaz and our special guest and Saturday MC Lola van Ella.
