This year we are bringing the unique Gin Minsky.
Hailing from NYC, Gin is an award-winning internationally-renowned tap dancer, burlesque performer, and sword swallower.
For the last 15 years, she has captivated audiences worldwide with her unique blend of high glamour 20s esthetic, specialized dance acts and sideshow spectacle. A seven-time invited performer at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, she won the "Most Classic" award in 2017. From Coney Island's Circus Sideshow to grand international stages, her mesmerizing acts leave audiences in awe.
Apart from her unique skills performances at all the festival shows, you will also be able to learn form Gin at a workshop in Prague.
Anja Pavlova
(Germany and Russia)
Our European headliner this year is no other then the fabulous diva Anja Pavlova.
She is one of the legends of the European burlesque scene with an international career spanning over a decade.
Having started performing in her native Moscow in 2010 and being one of the first generation of burlesque performers in the country, Anja has made her international debut in 2012 and hasn’t looked back ever since. She has performed in numerous countries and cities from Saint Petersburg to San Francisco, from Stockholm to Beirut and many between.
Moving to Berlin in 2017 has solidified her career and brought her new opportunities to work in variety theatres, private and public shows and productions - from a private birthday party of a prima ballerina in California to gala shows in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, etc.
On top of that she has, since 2017, remotely produced over a hundred burlesque and drag shows in Russia under a brand of Ladies of Burlesque which she has co-founded.
Anja’s brand of burlesque is poetic, emotional and elegant, drawing inspiration from classic European art and architecture, Slavic fairytales and the Golden Age of jazz. She is also one of the most amazing costumieres of her acts and her fully beaded elaborate and imaginatine acts and the highest couture level.
And of course she a total sweetheart too as we have found out on many occasions and when she performed for us in 2019 at a legendary Burlesque Ball.
